The 2 boys and girl in the Family Home are being guided by our longest residing, fabulous house parents who have now been serving for over 17 years. The oldest boy is in military school and the younger brother and his sister are in local schools. He likes drama and she likes art and dancing, but because her back injury still needs treatment, the dancing has to rest for now. Please see Marina’s prayer requests below.
In the other family home we call the Single Mom’s home, these super house parents have been serving now for over 10 years! Each mom resident has a young boy to mother and they both work while the boys are at school.
Now from Marina:
Dear beloved People! The sunny summer is over. The fall with lots of cold rains came. Kids are back to school. We have 3 issues we need a prayer about: 1. Volodya and Vera’s adopted boy Zhenya stole money their son Sasha had saved working during the Summer. He bought a phone and other stuff. The most dramatic thing is that the boy doesn't feel shame, just feel nothing. We noticed that kind of emotional problem long time ago. It is not getting better yet. He likes knives, other sharp things... of course, he is a boy but he acts cruel sometimes and doesn't sense it. We beg you to pray God open the heart of that boy and heal it. He is in the school uniform on the picture.
2. The other boy Danya tried alcohol and synthetic drug. His biological father died lately. And even though they did not had relations, the boy got wild after he got the news. We ask you to pray for him please.
3. Volodya and Vera grad Nastya after being rejected by her boyfriend got involved into porno.... Oh my... So much pain in her heart. She could not stay there for long. She feels terrible and empty.
And of course VeraVolodya are needed support in prayer. They need to be encouraged. If you can, send them some note or give a call...
Moms Home is doing great. Counselors take them out to parks and camps often. One of moms said she want to stay there forever. She's never met so kind people in her life. The other mom who kept silence for a year started opening up and smile. Her little boy is lovely.
In this picture you can see me with a babushka from Mariupol. She is 85 yo. Travels to Norway with her daughter and grandson. They stayed in my home for a few days. She lost her home but saved photo album of her family.
We love you and thank you for your efforts to keep us happy and alive.
Marina P. S. Please if you have any questions let me know.
